As part of developing their flagship store, Indiska reviewed how packaging was handled at the point of sale.
The existing solution, based on corrugated paper delivered on rolls, was not well suited for a busy retail environment. It required space, was difficult to manage during peak hours, and created inefficiencies when handling fragile products such as ceramics.
What they needed was a smarter approach. A solution designed for the realities of in-store packing, easy to use, space-efficient, and capable of supporting a smoother workflow at the checkout. At the same time, reducing material usage and moving towards more sustainable operations.
In close collaboration with Indiska, Boxon analysed their in-store workflow and specific requirements. The focus was on developing a solution that works seamlessly in daily operations.
The result was Geami Wrap’n Go from Ranpak, a compact table-top solution adapted for retail environments.
The solution offers:
• a dual-layer paper system combining protection and cushioning
• flexible use depending on product type
• the ability to pack multiple items efficiently
• a compact design that saves space at the counter
After in-store testing, the improvements were immediately clear, leading to implementation in the flagship store.
With the new setup, Indiska has achieved clear operational improvements:
For Indiska, having a partner that understands their operations has been key.
Through a proactive and hands-on approach, Boxon has helped develop a solution that works in practice. The result is a better working environment for staff and a more efficient, future-proof retail operation.
