Our corrugated cardboard and wooden packaging with FSC certification shows that the raw materials are sourced from sustainable forestry. Forest Stewardship Council® is a non-government organisation that promotes environmentally friendly and responsible forestry. By purchasing FSC-certified paper and corrugated cardboard products, you choose careful management of the forest’s resources.
There are three different labels that show whether a product comes from FSC-certified forestry, and whether it is made from a mixture of several raw materials or from recycled materials. By choosing FSC-certified products, you and your customers are making an important contribution to the sustainable use of the forests.
In April, our operations in Germany and France became FSC certified. This means that 80% of Boxon’s sites are FSC chain of custody certified.
We have secured FSC certification for our 23 main suppliers. Currently, 42% of our fibre-based items are FSC-certified, and our ambition is to have more than 70% of them FSC-certified by the end of 2023.
62% of all our sales come from products which are FSC certified.
