Boxon picks up waste for a cleaner world!
Sustainability is one of our cornerstones and a significant part of our work, which we are very proud of. We strive to incorporate our sustainability mindset into our daily operations, and therefore, it’s a given for us to participate in World Clean Up Day for the second year in a row. Our employees have joined hands with millions of people to pick up waste and help create a more sustainable and waste-free world.
Together with families and colleagues, we have so far collected around 500 kilos of waste, and many more colleagues will continue throughout the weekend to contribute to making our world cleaner.
We always strive to contribute to a more sustainable future by working to reduce our ecological footprint. Together, we can make a difference!
What is World Clean Up Day?
World Clean Up Day started in 2008 in Estonia, when over 50,000 people participated in collecting waste. In its first year, they collected over 10,000 tons of waste. The idea spread, and today almost every nation participates to help make our planet a little cleaner. As World Clean Up Day has grown, so has the commitment and sense of community, as anyone can take part. Today, it is a global movement with the aim of reducing waste and spreading knowledge about how we can take care of our environment.
