Chief Supply Chain Officer

As Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), you will have a central role in contributing to Boxon Group's future expansion and profitability.

In this international key role, you are responsible for developing processes as well as inbound and outbound logistics flows within Scandinavia and Germany. Together with your team, you will manage the logistical flow from around 300 suppliers via 19 warehouses, of which 12 in Europe and 7 in China. Boxon Group is on an exciting journey of growth, in which you will have the opportunity to contribute with your strategic ability to further optimize and expand the business.

Your base will be at Boxon Group's headquarter in Helsingborg. You report to the CEO and will be part of the management team for Boxon Group.

More about the position

The position as CSCO involves large contact areas both internally and externally. Internally, you will lead and develop 3 warehouse functions located in Sweden and Norway as well as one team within logistics planning. Your leadership includes 9 direct reports within the supply chain function. You will closely collaborate with the strategic purchasing function, the sales department and with supply chain managers for EMEA and Asia.

Main areas of responsibility

Overall responsibility for supply chain, operational purchasing, warehouse and distribution
Lead, develop and coach your team within the supply chain towards set goals
Responsible for investments and budget targets in your area
Implement efficiency and integration projects to optimize flows and reduce costs
Responsible for ensuring optimization of stock levels

Your profile

You have solid experience and competence in supply chain management. You are driven by new challenges and are self-motivated in your way of working. As a person, you thrive in a dynamic work environment where flexibility and quick priority changes are part of everyday life. You are strategic in your way of thinking and can see the bigger picture and understand industry trends. You are analytically gifted and can effectively communicate ideas and plans in a structured and persuasive manner.

You are a leader who successfully drives change and improvement by capitalizing on the strengths of employees. You engage and delegate tasks to your team but is also comfortable with hands-on work when needed. As a communicative person, you are skilled in navigating a challenging work environment and can build bridges and create understanding for different functions and stakeholders.

The position includes approximately 5 overnight stays per month.

Education and experience

At least five years' experience in a similar position within Supply chain, preferably from production operations
Relevant academic education
Solid competence in purchasing, supply chain and logistics
Good knowledge and experience in leading teams and functions remotely
